  12.     I have a USR14.4i modem. Problem!!! After buying a printer (Canon
  13. BJC-4000) my modem won't set properly. Using winsock i see something
  14. like this:

  16.           ( sometimes a blank)
  17. at
  18. j           or
  19.

  21. h         etc.

  24.     What's wierd is if I unplug the printer in the back of the computer
  25. and cold start it, the modem will work with no problem, having not
  26. changed any port settings or such.  Also, maybe related is: If I close
  27. winsock and then open it up again and try to dial out, I get the same
  28. messages in the winsock screen. 
  29.     If I plug the printer in after starting winsock I have no problem.
  30.     Modem is in comm2     Printer is in LPT-1
  31. Anyone out there have this bug?
  32. Anyone know what the conflict is?
  33. Anyone have a cure?
